Plain definitions of the terms the lessons use.
- Demonstrated capacity The output a resource has actually achieved over a recent period, used as the realistic rate in capacity plans.
- Rough-cut capacity planning A check of the demand plan against the hours available on a few critical resources, done before the plan is committed.
- Schedule attainment The share of scheduled production that was made as scheduled, in the right quantity and the right period.
